Deceitful Snail Spam July 15, 2008

Posted by Phineas in : Lies , trackback

So I get tons of mortgage junk mail, like most people no doubt.  I’ve always hated deceitful junk mail, long before “spam” was a word. Mail that lies about its contents, pretending it’s from the government, pretending that it’s registered mail, obscuring the contents so you have to open it to discover that its junk, etc. Now the mortgage stuff — these guys expect me to borrow tons of money from them. Their opening gambit is a lie, yet they seriously expect me to trust them with my life savings (my home). Right. Sure, sounds great, here ya go!

Old ladies. Seriously, they snag old ladies who are just savvy enough to get email but too trusting to know shit from Shinola (whatever that is — I just bought 30 cases of it — supposed to thicken my hair AND my cock in just 30 X 6 applications — I’m like, “no-brainer!”).

Our job as not-yet-old-ladies is to protect the old ladies in our lives. Little brother Krew and I have it easy because Mama Bixcube doesn’t believe *anything*, even stuff that’s demonstrably true, like gravity and Sasquatch.

Look out for your old ladies, gentlemen: they may be the oldest ladies you ever get. Word.
