Several things about Joey Ramone’s August 10, 2002

Several things about Joey Ramone’s last album that I think are cool.

1) the title. It’s sad Joey passed away, but he tells us not to worry about him. How sweet is that?
2) a punk version of wonderful world. Sure, of course! Wonderful!
3) a faithful rendition of 1969, my favorite Iggy and the Stooges song
4) the song Searching for Something is all about a woman he knows who was all into Gurumayi and the Siddha Ashram and South Fallsburg. Just kind of cool to think of Joey experiencing Shaktipat.

anyways, that’s what I been listenin to lately.
